Intermediate Watercolor Homework: Class #3

Hi Folks
It was fun to invade the neighborhood yesterday, and to see the great variety of interpretations of the subject. Please bring those to class next week, along with this:
Find a photo, or use one of the attached, that resolves easily into a few major shapes. Plan how you will manipulate color, value, wetness and composition to separate the shapes, and make clear where they are in the pictorial space. 
As a rule of thumb, it takes two or more variables working together to make a convincing separation, but if you can do it with just one, that's great.
Write your plan directly on a preliminary study (thumbnail sketch, value study, geometric sketch, etc.).
OK, now paint.
